The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery, is seeking a board eligible/certified neurosurgeon with an interest in spinal surgery or general neurosurgery. The opportunity for leadership in the Spine section exists for the qualified applicant. A commitment to excellence in patient care, research and resident teaching is expected. Clinical, basic science and biomechanical research opportunities are available and encouraged. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the management of complex spine disease, preferably through an accredited fellowship program. Established community outreach and referrals enables subspecialty development in this small town university setting.
WVU Hospitals, Inc., a 530-bed facility, includes a Level 1 Trauma Center and Childrenâs Hospital in addition to numerous other patient care units. WVU Faculty enjoy the benefits of a premier tertiary referral center, with a collaborati! ve academic atmosphere conducive to professional development. !
