As an Admission Counselor, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing clients and their families with a safe environment to begin the long process of recovery. You will partner with the Director of Admissions and Director of Nursing to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, direct, and coordinate activities for daily meetings for clients and their families including individualized planning for each family including activities to promote discussion, exchange of ideas, and growth in all areas of life skills with a long-term commitment to treatment.
- Meet with parents during intake about their needs, goals, and concerns.
- Contact referral sources to complete admissions paperwork.
- Provide marketing support for the facility including scheduling of client appointments, community outreach, etc.
- Perform admission counseling skills testing.
- Follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding admission as well as all policies, procedures, and standards established by the facility, state, and or county.
- Providing administrative support such as: Scheduling, Markup Scheduling, Calendar support, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor Administrative Assistant.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year in related field with experience working with clients with substance use disorders preferred.

Salary: Up to $100.00 per month
