Position: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description:
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for machine setup, machine part installation (Belts, wheels, motors, gears, bearings, shafts… etc.). The Mechanical Assembler will work in a team environment to ensure quality and safety of the product.
Essential Duties:

- Minimum electrical work knowledge (wiring, troubleshooting and installations), product change setup, Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical production issues, accurately perform quick equipment repairs and machine maintenance (greasing, oil, corrective and preventive maintenance)..
- Assemble, test, and document assembled products.
- Perform final inspection of assembled product to ensure that all components are in good condition.
- Maintain inventory of finished parts and maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or under the direction of a supervisor.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·Knowledge of basic hand tools (drill, saw, drill press, etc.).
·Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary parts needed to complete a project.
·Knowledge of basic machine tools (drill press, lathe).
·Ability to perform general labor duties including lifting 50 pounds or more on a regular basis on assigned projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
