Benefits Specialist | Arizona


 Job Duties:
  • Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges

  • Audits and reviews invoicing for all medical benefits and 401k
  • Supports the annual ACA - Reporting /1095
  • Assist in development of business practices as they relate to benefits/benchmarking
  • Determines employee benefit interests by conducting employee surveys
  • Explains employee benefits by helping to prepares written and graphic announcements and explanations, responding to requests as needed
  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
  • Assists with new-hire orientations
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
  • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
  • Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
  • Assists with the open enrollment process
  • Assist with pulling files in the office when needed
  • Other projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in HR or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for education
  • 2-3 years working in HR or Benefits Administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent and timely follow-up with customers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a solutions-oriented mindset
