Central Indiana Orthopedics is seeking applicants for a full-time Clinical Specialist position at its Muncie and Fishers offices. This position will work directly with Dr. Joseph Duncan, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in Spine Surgery.
This individual will provide support to Dr. Duncan and his team during s! cheduled office hours, Monday through Friday, which will include patient care and administrative support. Additionally, this position will be required to provide support to Dr. Duncan during call hours every other Thursday from 1:00 pm â€" 9:00 pm at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This individual also may be required to be present during surgeries as needed.
This individual may be required to perform initial patient assessment and intake information including, but not limited to, medical, family and social history, take and record patient vital signs, and interview patients; provide care for clinic patients following established standards and practices, deliver outstanding patient care; and assist in procedures as directed by physicians. This individual also is responsible for maintaining and updating electronic patient records with a high degree of accuracy in a timely and efficient manner.
