Emergency Medicine - Level 3 - (ER - Level 3) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts! : Varied Shift
Work in a quaint community at the heart of West Virginia's Mountain Highlands. Client is needing a physician to work in the Emergency Room covering 4-8 shifts per month. This is a level III ER with double physician coverage 13 hours/day and mid-level backup the remainder of the day. ER average 30,000 visits per year. Client is looking for a physician Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with ER experience.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
