1. Current license to practice professional nursing in West Virginia.
2. Current BLS certification.
3. Knowledge of nursing and scientific facts and principles to enable the nurse to recall and apply relevant knowledge in executing nursing care.

Med/Surg (3B/4A)
Additional Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of Chemotherapy Course or equivalent required within 6 months.
2. Successful completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent.

Outpatient Oncology
Additional Qualificat! ions:
1. Successful completion of Chemotherapy Course required or equivalent.
2. Certification in Oncology preferred.
Maternity
Additional Qualifications:
1. NRP certification required.
2. One year Medical/Surgical Nursing experience recommended.
Labor and Delivery
Additional Qualifications:
1. NRP certification required.
2. One year Medical/Surgical Nursing experience recommended.
Newborn Nursery
Additional Qualifications:
1. NRP certification required.
2. One year Medical/Surgical Nursing experience recommended.
Pediatric
Additional Qualifications:
1. PALS certification or one year Medical/Surgical Nursing experience preferred.
PACU
Additional Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and competence in post anesthesia recovery nursing.
2. ACLS certification required.
3. PALS certification preferred.
4. Succ! essful completion of Critical Care Courses or equivalent.
5. CPI training required annually.
Endoscopy
Additional Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and competency in gastroenterologic nursing.
2. ACLS certification required.
3. Successful completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent.
Ambulatory Surgery
Additional Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent.
2. ACLS certification required.
3. PALS certification preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
Behavioral Medicine 2B
Additional Qualifications:
1. CPI training required annually.
Emergency Dept
Additional Qualifications:
1. ACLS certification required
2. PALS certification preferred
3. Successful completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent.
4. CEN recommended
5. Previous ED experience, Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS! ) or (Trauma Nursing Core
Course) TNCC preferred.
6. CPI traini! ng required annually.
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Nurse/Cardiovascular Diagnostic Nurse â€"
Additional Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent
2. ACLS recommended
3. An understanding of the principles of teaching, counseling, guidance, and evaluation and their principles.
4. Vascular Lab â€" Specialized training in vascular testing.
5. Provides care to adult and geriatric patients.
Special Procedures Laboratory RN
Additional Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of Critical Care Courses or equivalent.
2. Minimum of two years recent experience ICU/CCU setting.
3. ACLS certification required.
Pulmonary Rehab
Additional Qualifications:
1. ACLS certification.
2. An understanding of the principles of teaching, counseling, guidance, and evaluation of pulmonary principles.
