The Benefits Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting and administering of group benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and other plans.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering competitive pay. Other benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.

· Coordinate transfer of employee data to Third Party Vendors for services, premiums and plan administration.
· Ensure client compliance with applicable government regulations. Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, ERISA, Section 125, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims.
· Respond to client inquiries into billing, claims and general benefit questions.
· Gather employee census and payroll data and oversee the processing of daily benefit administration.
· Prepare, collect and organize data for sales and renewal proposals.
· Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
· Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of benefit packages.
· Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.
· Implement client installations and use and knowledge of Employee Navigator or other Benefit Admin Systems.
· Provide support and assistance to Inova Benefits team members.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Other duties as assigned by the Benefits Operations Manager.
