The Travel Industry Marketing Officer is responsible for driving PRC conducted market share and identifying sale opportunities to grow the PRC market in store by building effective relationship with travel agencies, guides and conductors. The Ambassador is required to communicate and educate conducted groups on promotional events, best sellers and exclusive merchandise in the Galleria to drive store conversion and spending.
1. Customer Service Excellence
- Create a high standard of customer experience through interacting effectively with customers on product, guarantee and service information.
- Build rapport and relationship with travel guides/conductors to secure a strong marketing position in the travel industry and continuously motivating travel guides/conductors to promote and support our in-shop sales.
• Accompany conducted groups in the Galleria and taking a focused stance on promoting our merchandise and highlighting promotional activities. • Drive customers’ participation in in-store activities and spending. • Handle feedback and after sales service matters from travel guides/conductors and customers promptly and effectively.
- Partner with Sales, Concierge and Personal Shopper teams to deliver exceptional shopping experience to our customers.
2. Administration
- Responsible for accurate reporting, recording and data collection of conducted groups, customer information and sales generated.
• Track the performance of travel guides/conductors on their groups’ spending and customer penetration. • Support in-store promotional activities by conducting customer surveys and interviews and giving feedback to the Manager, PRC Travel Industry Marketing.
- Perform other related duties such as assisting in language translation, GST Refund, issuing of shopping letters, arrangement of couriers or hotel deliveries
Key Requirements
- At least two years of sales or customer service experience in a similar environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Groomed, poised and confident
- High proficiency in verbal/written Mandarin and English
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills
- Highly motivated, flexible and results oriented
- Able to work effectively with people from all background
