MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience.
  • Excellent computer skills; Proficient with Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • High quality customer service.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
:

  • Provides daily administrative support by performing a variety of secretarial and clerical functions (e.g., answering phones, typing memos, faxing and emailing, etc.).
  • Creates and accurately maintains department files.
  • Follows federal and state laws, as well as State and local Board policies including those related to the confidentiality of student and personnel records, standardized test materials and other information.
  • Assists with registration and entering student data into Infinite Campus.
  • Performs bookkeeping functions (e.g., maintains all bookkeeping records, budget items, and submits all purchase orders) in accordance with district policies and procedures.
  • Reconciles monthly bank statements and subsidiary accounts.
  • Processes purchase orders, review check requests for proper documentation; prepare checks to pay bills; post ledgers; and maintains balanced accounts.
  • Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Attends approved training sessions, professional development activities, and required meetings as assigned.
  • Inventories and request office supplies and materials as needed for daily operations.
  • Assists in the preparation and transmittal of transcripts and other official documents relating to students as required.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports as it relates to behavior, attendance, and academics.
  • Exhibits a professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
