The person in this position is responsible for the coordination of accreditation and regulatory standards for the h! ospital, as well as implementing a process to support ongoing compliance and survey readiness. The manager is looking for someone with a lot of clinical experience (not hospital administrative experience). The manager would prefer a nurse but it wouldn’t have to be. Also, knowledgeable of Joint Commission Standards and CMS Standards. In short, this person would make sure the hospital is compliant with standards and also will be doing tracers…which would be “acting as the surveyor†to validate consistency, safety, and uniform performance of care, treatment, and services.
The Regulatory Readiness Manager (RRM) is responsible for the coordination of accreditation and regulatory standards for the assigned facility that supports the overall organization.
