A health system has a need for a locum tenen to assist in their urgent care facilities until they hire a permanent physician. The location is within beautiful West Virginia suburbs. The need is full time; however, they are open to piecing together the coverage. The physician must be Boarded in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
Urgent Care(locum tenens) is a division of medicine devoted to providing immediate care to patients suffering from acute illness. An urgent care physician must possess a broad fund of knowledge, as they deal with a wide range of cases ranging from complex and exotic to routine on a daily basis. Generally speaking, patients visit urgent care centers when they are unable to see their primary care physician.
