Camden Clark Medical Center is seeki! ng a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner for a growing Cardiothoracic practice. The practice consists of 2 surgeons. The senior physician has a primary focus of cardiac surgery while the newest physician is doing mostly thoracic cases with a strong emphasis in minimally invasive and esophageal surgery. There is also a very strong referral pattern supported by our comprehensive community cancer center with medical and radiation oncology, pulmonary and gastroenterology among most all other specialties. The applicant will be primarily focusing on the thoracic side of the practice but will be cross trained with vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting by endoscopic means in order to fully participate in the cardiac procedures. Work hours are daily 8 - 5 pm with call 1:2.

Responsibilities of applicant would include

• participation in daily rounds,
• providing postoperative care,
• evaluating patients in the clinic,

• in-house consultations,
• assisting in the operatin! g room.
