More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. The CT Surgery Clinic Coordinator serves in multiple duties/roles to coordinate the activities of the clinic. The coordinator collaborates with the Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Mid-Level Providers, and other team members to screen, assess, evaluate and determine a plan of care for the patients. The coordinator servers as a leader and consultant for internal and external education regarding the disease processes for the case mix of patients cared for in the clinic. The coordinator acts as the liaison for referring physicians and insurance companies. The coordinator serves as a case manager for clinic patients to ensure coordination of care between physicians, clinical and community resources. The Clinic Coordinator will also provide Community Outreach Programs which would include lectures and meetings at referral facilities and physician offices/clinics.
Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement : A graduate of an approved masters prepared Nurse Practitioner program. Certified by either the AANC or AANP board.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
One year minimiun experience as NP with extensive experience in the care of the Open Heart or Cardiac Catherization patient population.
c. Minimum License Requirement : Certified by either the AANC or AANP board. Current ACLS and BLS.
