With locations in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Phoenix we have many opportunities available. Standard work days are M-F, with occasional on-call after hours. This position is expected to work in excess of 40 hours per week during periods of high demand periods.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for leveraging a modern, well-maintained vehicle fleet in order to further Haynes’ mission of unparalleled HVAC and BAS service. This position must be able to work well with operational, safety, and accounting departments to ensure that Haynes’ field staff is properly equipped with vehicles. The Fleet Coordinator typically works on a variety of assignments in a rapid environment with minimal assistance. The position requires a team player and effective collaborator who can achieve successful outcomes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other job duties may be assigned that are not included in the job description.


  • Manage the fleet database, including drivers, vehicles, locations, and documentation.
  • Provide superior customer service to all field Associates as it relates to all fleet-related inquiries or needs (ex: fuel card, registrations, and procurement).
  • Manage the maintenance for the company vehicles including oil changes, new tires and normal wear and tear
  • Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs with vendors, and coordinate the use and delivery of a spare vehicle to maintain technician efficiency
  • Obtain repair quotes as necessary to influence repair costs and vehicle downtime
  • Initiate and manage insurance claims for accidental damage to company vehicles
  • Perform routine inspections on company fleet
  • Manage the registration and licensing of vehicles
  • Maintain the inventory of spare keys for all company vehicles
  • Work with external vendors, including Enterprise, Ford, glass repair shops, GPS vendor, and auto mechanics
  • Distribute and monitor WEX fuel cards
  • Monitor vehicle GPS system to ensure system reliability and usage
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Assist with vehicle purchasing plan and upfitting
  • Assist with fleet process improvement, including vendor selection, technology, and reporting
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager


Experience and Skills:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fleet Experience
  • Demonstrated logistical and administrative skills in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work flexibly with other team members
  • Valid driver’s license
Salary Range: $24/hr to $32/hr
    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
