Position Summary
The Academic Supervisor supports both teachers and students by working with both to schedule and proctor exams in the Testing Center.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
- Supervise students working in the school’s Learning Commons after school from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Develop a schedule for make-up exams with the Vice Principal of Curriculum and Instruction and communicate the schedule to students and teachers.
- Schedule and administer make-up final exams in January and June.
- Collect and redistribute make-up exams to teachers securely.
- Coordinate make-up tests with students directly based on student availability and the make-up exam schedule.
- Maintain a secure and academic testing environment where all students can complete exams free from distraction.
- Maintain the academic integrity of all Presentation testing materials through careful supervision of students and handling of all testing resources.
- Track and share data regarding the Testing Center.
- High School diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
